Short answers. The guides are longer on purpose — this is not a thin doorway of keyword pages.
Is this GoDaddy’s official website?
No. Start A Site is an independent guide published by 4 Life Health Wealth LLC / Shopfront Stack. We recommend GoDaddy as a default for many local businesses. We do not impersonate GoDaddy’s store, login, or support. Account problems go to GoDaddy, not to us.
Do you make money if I buy?
Yes, if you use our labeled affiliate hops and a commission is later attributed through CJ Affiliate. You should not pay more because of that. Details are on the disclosure page. Placeholder links currently send you to GoDaddy’s public homepage until live CJ URLs are pasted in.
Why not WordPress?
WordPress is fine when someone maintains it. It is a poor first-week project for an owner-operator who still has to run a route. Plugins, updates, and backups are a second job. Use a builder in month one unless you already have a keeper.
Why not Squarespace or Wix as the default?
They are the honest alternatives. Squarespace wins on visual calm. Wix wins when you need a specific app. They are not the default because they are not registrar-first one-login paths for this audience. We link to them editorially, without pretending we have a CJ relationship.
Will you quote today’s domain price?
No. First-year teasers and renewals move. Verify current pricing on the merchant site. We will not invent an “as of” number or a coupon we cannot date and source.
Do I have to use GoDaddy email?
No. If you already live in Google Workspace, stay there and attach the domain. The requirement is you@yourdomain.com, not a particular vendor logo on the inbox.
What if I already bought a domain somewhere else?
Keep it. Point the builder at that domain. Transferring names for sport is how mail breaks. The default is for people who do not have a name yet.

Do you run a cookie popup?
No. Reading the guides does not require cookies. Clicking an affiliate hop may set merchant/CJ cookies for commission attribution. See the privacy policy.
